Pre-Photos Checklist

  • Clean up - The house doesn’t have to be spotless, but too much stuff laying around can make your house feel cluttered. Beds should be made and counters should be wiped clean.

  • Light it up! - When taking photos, I turn on every single light in and outside of the house, make sure they are all working so your photos look amazing.

  • Outside - Make sure there is not any cars, boats or other vehicles in the driveway. Garage doors should be closed and the garbage can should be hidden.

  • Living areas - Please hide electrical cords, remotes, magazines, and other items that may take away from the room.

  • Kitchen - Clutter in the kitchen can be distracting, and an abundance of appliances on the counters can make the space look small. Take all magnets and pictures off of the fridge.

  • Final notes - Before leaving your house, do a walkthrough and make sure every room is as photographable as possible. Your house should look the same as when it is being shown.
